What's new about a Creative Sewing Center?

As anyone who has undertaken a change of space knows, you start by going through your old space, cleaning out, deciding what to take and what to let go. Then the exciting part begins: making plans for your new space! Here at A Common Thread, our exciting new surroundings have helped us to find a fresh new outlook on creativity and sewing.

As we rolled up our sleeves, we realized the wide range of interests we serve and the tremendous depth of talent that our community of customers and friends has to offer. Our new store is a reflection of that energy, and have re-dedicated ourselves to serving the many interests and needs of our creative community. With that renewed energy we have redefined our mission as a Creative Sewing Center.

We’re proud to serve a wide range of sewing interests: quilting, fashion, craft sewing, home decor, accessories, embroidery, embellishment, artistic expression, fabric dying, and more -- all taught by inspiring professionals. And our knowledgeable staff is always excited to share the newest techniques, machines, software, notions, and inspiration in the marketplace.
